STUDENT PLT ON FIRST SOLO LANDED HARD DUE TO LATE FLARE. THE ACFT TOUCHED DOWN ON THE NOSE GEAR RESULTING IN SUBSTANTIALDAMAGE. A GO-AROUND WAS ACCOMPLISHED FOLLOWED BY AN UNEVENTFUL LANDING.
