The General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) of The United Arab Emirates has notified the NTSB of an accident involving a MCDONNELL DOUGLAS MD11 that occurred on January 20, 2019. The NTSB has appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist the GCAA's investigation under the provisions of ICAO Annex 13 as the State of Manufacture of the airplane and engines.All investigative information will be released by the GCAA.
