On May 28, 2012, about 0920 universal time (UTC), a Netherlands registered Cessna 172M, PH-SKJ, was destroyed when it impacted terrain about 17 nautical miles southwest of the Rotterdam The Hague Airport, The Netherlands. The pilot and three passengers were fatally injured. The investigation is under the jurisdiction of the government of The Netherlands.
