THE PLT MADE A HARD LANDING WHICH DAMAGED THE NOSE GEAR MAKING IT IMPOSSIBLE FOR THE PLT TO AVOID A COLLISION WITH A SNOWBANK DURING A SUBSEQUENT LANDING.
