THE PILOT REPORTED THAT DURING A NORMAL LANDING, THE LEFT MAIN GEAR AXLE FAILED AND HE WAS UNABLE TO CONTROL THE AIRCRAFT. THE AIRCRAFT WENT OFF THE RUNWAY AND THE NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED WHEN IT ENCOUNTERED SOFT MUD.
