WITNESSES AT THE ACCIDENT SITE STATED THAT AFTER TAKEOFF, THE ENGINE ON N8937 BEGAN TO SPUTTER AND THE AIRCRAFT STALLED AT AN ALTITUDE OF APPROXIMATELY 50 TO 100 FEET AGL.
