On May 29, 2026, about 1153 eastern daylight time, a Boeing E75, N181RF, was substantially damaged when it was involved in an accident near Dresden, Ohio. The pilot and passenger were seriously injured. The airplane was operated as a Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 91 personal flight. A witness, who lived near the accident site with her husband, reported that she was standing in her yard and observed the accident airplane fly over her residence in a north direction. She then heard a loud “pop,” and the engine noise ceased. The airplane subsequently impacted a hay field at her neighbor’s residence across the street. Her husband ran to the wreckage to render assistance to the occupants. Initial examination of the wreckage by an FAA inspector revealed that it came to rest upright in the field, and both the upper and lower right wings sustained substantial damage. The wreckage was retained for further examination.
