The airplanes contact with terrain during takeoff which resulted in an inability to gain airspeed, which resulted in an aerodynamic stall and subsequent impact with terrain.

The pilot stated that during takeoff from an unimproved gravel airstrip, the left main tire contacted soft dirt and vegetation. The pilot reported that the airplane was unable to accelerate, and it subsequently stalled shortly after becoming airborne, which resulted in an impact with tundra-covered terrain. The airplane sustained substantial damage to the right wing and elevator. The pilot stated that there were no preaccident mechanical failures or malfunctions with the airplane that would have precluded normal operation.
