The Government of South Africa has notified the NTSB of an incident involving a Bombardier CL-600-2B19 that occurred May 16, 2018. The NTSB has appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist the South African Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) investigation under the provisions of ICAO Annex 13 as the State of Manufacturer and Design of the engine. All investigative information will be released by the CAA.
