The Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department (HKCAD) has notified the NTSB of an incident involving a Boeing 747-8F airplane which occurred on March 29, 2018. The NTSB has appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist the HKCAD investigation under the provisions of ICAO Annex 13 as the State of design and manufacture of the airplane and engines. All investigative information will be released by the HKCAD.
