On October 16, 2017, about 1123 UTC, an amateur-built Avid Mark IV airplane, French registration F-JAGB, owned and operated by a private individual, crashed during a test flight near Jüterborg, Germany. The pilot on board was fatally injured and the airplane was destroyed.
