On May 26, 2017, about 1200 coordinated universal time, a Cessna 172M, Ukrainian registration UR-WTA, was substantially damaged when it impacted a one-story building after takeoff from the Pivtsi Airport, Chernihiv, Ukraine. The pilot was fatally injured. The flight was conducted under Ukrainian flight regulations.The investigation is under the jurisdiction of the National Bureau for Incidents and Accidents Investigation of Civil Aircraft (NBAAI) of Ukraine.
