On May 6, 2016, about 1625 coordinated universal time (UTC), a Rans S-12, D-MOHA, was destroyed when it impacted terrain after a loss of control during the initial climb from Loan Airport, Wiener Neustadt, Austria. The pilot and passenger were killed. The investigation is under the jurisdiction of the Government of Austria.
