The Civil Aviation Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran (CAO.IRI) has notified the NTSB of an incident involving an Airbus A320-200, which occurred on February 15, 2015. The NTSB has appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist the CAO investigation under the provisions of ICAO Annex 13 as the State of Design of the airplane engines. All investigative information will be released by the CAO.
