On August 5, 2015 about 0840 UTC, a Kitfox Series 7 airplane, Swiss registration HB-YMG, impacted into a forest near Hundwil-Appenzell, Switzerland. The pilot and the passenger were killed, and the airplane was destroyed. Visual Meteorological conditions prevailed at the time of the accident. The local flight departed from Lommis Airfield (LSZT), Switzerland. This Investigation is under the jurisdiction and control of the Swiss government.
