The Brazilian Centro de Investigação e Prevenção deAcidentes Aeronáuticos (CENIPA) has notified the NTSB of an incident involving a Boeing 777 that occurred on January, 14, 2012. The NTSB has appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist the CENIPA investigation under the provisions of ICAO Annex 13 as the State of Manufacturer and Design of the airplane and State of Registration and the Operator. All investigative information will be released by the CENIPA.
