On September 7, 2010, an Alrosa Mirny Air Enterprise Tupolev Tu-154M, registration RA-85684, overran the runway at an abandoned air strip near the town of Izhma, Russia. This accident is being investigated by the Russian Interstate Aviation Committee (MAK). The NTSB has been requested to assist the extraction and examination of information from the accident airplane's Terrain Awareness and Warning System.
