DURING THE LANDING ROLL ON A LOCAL INSTRUCTIONAL FLIGHT, THE AIRPLANE BEGAN TO SWERVE TO THE RIGHT. LEFT RUDDER CONTROL WAS APPLIED; HOWEVER, THE AIRPLANE TRAVELED OFF THE EDGE OF THE RUNWAY INTO THE SOFT SOIL AND NOSED OVER.
