THE PILOT WAS LANDING ON A TUNA BOAT. WHEN IT WAS ABOUT 2-FEET ABOVE THE HELIPAD, THE TUNA BOAT PITCHED UPWARD AND THE FRONT SKID STRUCK THE HELIPAD. THE HELICOPTER LANDED HARD AND THE MAIN ROTOR BLADES SEVERED THE TAIL BOOM ASSEMBLY.
