WHILE LANDING WITH THREE TO FOUR FOOT SWELLS AND WHEN THE AIRCRAFT WAS COMING OFF THE STEP, A WAVE STRUCK THE HORIZONTAL STABILIZER AND ELEVATOR CAUSING SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE.
