THE LEFT MAIN GEAR COLLAPSED DURING A LOSS OF CONTROL ON LANDING. THE PLT REPORTED THE ACFT TOUCHED DOWN PREMATURELY DURING THE FLARE AND IT CONTACTED THE LIP OF THE RWY AT THE APCH END.
