PLT QUICKLY PULLED EXCESSIVE COLLECTIVE WHILE ATTEMPTING TAKEOFF FROM A HOVER. ROTOR RPM DECREASED AND THE ACFT TOUCHED DOWN HARD ON THE RIGHT SKID. A POST ACCIDENT ENGINE RUN REVEALED NO DISCREPANCIES.
