THE ACFT DEPARTED AN OFFSHORE PLATFORM AT 1510 FOR A 13 MIN FLT TO GRAND CHENIER. ON 9/20 THE WRECKAGE WAS RECOVERED FROM THE FLOOR OF THE GULF. THE BOTTOM LEFT SIDE OF THE FUSELAGE REVEALED EVIDENCE OF HIGH IMPACT FORCES WITH THE WATER. THERE WAS NO EVIDENCE OF A MECHANICAL FAILURE OR MALFUNCTION.
